Stories make
fantastic things happen
What’s my story?
It’s storytelling itself. Like the cardboard you’ll see throughout this website, stories are familiar materials. In fact, the two often go together – in school projects, in the stories printed on packaging and in the hand-written placards waved at marches. They’re the stuff of our hopes and dreams. And like cardboard, stories can be recycled to serve a new purpose.
Just as we can all make a cardboard sign, we can all tell stories. But it takes some skill to create something that captivates an audience to the extent that they experience a surge of oxytocin to the brain. When that happens the areas of your cortex associated with the characters’ sensory experiences, actions and emotions light up. In a certain neurological sense, you become them. That’s why if you want to teach someone something and be sure they won’t forget it or make them feel deeply for others, tell them a good story.
By combining my experience in copywriting, intercultural communications, (science) fiction, fine art and stories with a deep understanding of your audience, I help you change hearts and minds.

Stories by another name are just as sweet.
